Bootstrap CSS and JS: I use this for all the parts of the site I don't want to end up rebuilding, and to brush up on my Bootstrap knowledge.

Font Awesome Free Edition: Icons that function as fonts cuts down on the amount of images I need to render out in order to get the site online, as well as making things a bit more interesting to look at.

HTMX: I could bake up my own AJAX calls. I could then turn that into a function that I could reuse. I could do everything from scratch all the time. Or ... I could use a library that already exists.

HTML5 Shiv: I doubt that many older browsers are going to come across this site, but if they do, I want them to work.

Facebook Opengraph: I like pretty links.

Google TagI can't afford a less intrusive way to analyze site traffic yet. I measure page views, scrolls, and file downloads.

Building Back

Well, after a bit of struggle, the site is back online. I've got an actual space to work on it, so now I'm out of excuses for not making it go. It's time to bring it back online and actually make something of this site. I had a lot of grand designs; life didn't break that direction this time.

I guess we'll have to see what comes next.
